Snow!

Today we have really enjoyed the snow. We enjoyed making snow angels and we built a snowman. For the snowman's nose we used a carrot and we used some twigs for his arms. The pupils showed resilience when building the snowman as parts of him kept falling off. When we returned to the classroom, we wrote some sentences about the snow and our snowman.

Space

Our first topic this term was Space. The children loved making their own space rockets. We learnt the story of Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers and we sequenced the pictures. We then enjoyed retelling the story!

9th November 2017

Today we have been learning about Remembrance Day.

We baked some biscuits and turned them into poppies using red icing and a chocolate button.

Some of us made some pictures and wrote a letter to the soldiers to thank them.

Here are some pictures to show you what we have been doing.
